IYLS:
The “If you like Schiele” Sunday series. 
To mix things up a bit & keep this blog interesting for you and me, I sometimes feature artists that are either directly influenced by Schiele or who gravitate toward similar techniques or themes. Essentially, just exactly what it sounds like: artists I imagine people who enjoy Schiele would appreciate.

On Posting Fan Reproductions:
Reproductions aren’t usually the most popular posts (as measured by likes+reblogs+messages) but I feel they add variety (not to mention highlight a modern connection between fans of Schiele and the artist).  There is a limited number of Egon Schiele paintings, and I’ve posted nearly all of them many, many times over. I’d also like to make this blog as dynamic as time allows.  

IYLS Sundays, audio, video, reproductions, parodies, photography, inspired paintings/music/photoshoots, comparison posts, excerpts of Schiele’s writing, art criticism, psychological research, biography, the odd book cover, cosmetic items, museum photographs + recordings, etc. etc. etc., all, I hope, enhance this blog and make for a more interesting follow-ship.  Still, the majority of posts are of Egon Schiele’s paintings, and I think that’s rightly so.
